“My practice is primarily rooted in moving image, with a strong focus on the interplay between fiction and everyday life. I explore how cinematic language permeates our experience of the real, and how the mundane can be transformed into narrative or poetic expression. Drawing from both documentary and constructed performance, my work centralises on the everyday, reinterpreting familiar scenarios, from entertainment and mass media to retail and domestic life, unpacking the anxieties, desires, and behaviours they evoke. In current work, I’m developing a more embodied use of sound to make the invisible tangible, exploring how the sonic can highlight internal processes in ways that image alone cannot.”
