DEFCON consists of two images. The first one is taken from the 80’s film War Games and is as fictitious depiction of NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) that provides aerospace warning. This is a joint venture between the US and Canada and was build in the 1950’s with the increased threat of attacks from the Soviet Union, its still in operation today. In the film War Games this set was central to the plot and suggested the potential of a third world war.

The second image is a spider diagram over current threats to myself personally.

DEFCON is a defense readiness condition used by the US armed forces to prescribe five levels of readiness from DEFCON 5 (least severe to DEFCON 1 (most severe).
